Exhibition at Officina Tessile, Milano During Milan Design Week 2016. Together with Arch. Rebecca Vassallo and Alessandro Baschera we set up an exhibition on the fabric as a metaphor showcasing different projects. The exhibition featured urban architecture, painting and life drawing and some of my fashion accessories. My contribution was in developping the concept and setting up the exhibition as well as marketing and communication.
The concept behind the exhibition was the fabric, declined metaphorically as the fabric of society, human fabric and urban fabric, other than the material object itself. Each connotation of the term related to what was exhibited. The necessity was to homogenize the walls of the room, thus we used fabric in the form of blank canvases. The canvases become a metaphor for any potential new project. Special enphasis was given to the display of the project behind the items exhibited. The canvases were thus used as exhibition space pinning the paper sheets onto it.
Developing the concept, setting up the exhibition was done in a week.
