The Emperor's New Clothes Pixie Book was a group project. We had to merge a children's story with a "Steam Punk" (randomly assigned) theme to create an interactive story. The project was aimed at honing group collaboration while improving design and programming skills.
At the beginning of the project the group brainstormed possible stories that we would like to animate. Once we had a story, we had to come up with a storyboard and characters to visualize how we would recreate the story.
Once we had all the designs needed, the group initiated designing the web environment to tell the story. We did this using CSS3 animations and JS timeout and eventlisteners to determine when to trigger an animation, detect events like clicks and to jump to the next page.
