Mostly Mozart Festival

For the Yellow poster the unity I tried to achieve was Continuation. The balance I used was asymmetrical. I put the piano on the bottom left to give it a unique look. I also tried to incorporate other aspects of balance through color by using the lighter colors and also by value by have the text be a contrast color to the posters overall theme. The Rhythm I used was the progressive rhythm by having the piano in the front and the notes progressive getting smaller up the poster and near the text. The typography I used was the contrast of color and also making it asymmetrical by having the text in the upper right hand corner all grouped together where the reader is able to get all the information the poster is trying to convey in one chunk.

The blue poster I used grouping, repetition, and underlying color. The balance I used was symmetrical. For rhythm, I used repetitive rhythm. The typography I used was all part of the blue theme and I used a font that looked a little more classical that was still easy to read. On this one, I used the entire poster's space to spread out the message and get the viewers to look at the entire poster and grab their attention.

For both of these projects I used the fill to get the poster's main color and worked from there. I mainly just looked up good fonts that I thought would look good with the theme I was trying to convey. I then grabbed photos online and edited the colors to match the backgroung.
