Duringher work on Other Voices 9, local Dingle based visual artist Áine Ní Chíobháinwas invited by the producers, South Wind Blows to create an artist’s responseto the television music series.
Theresulting work of mixed media sketches, focuses on the human heart,encapsulating the magic of the Dingle concerts.
PaulMahon, of Gepetto project, was invited by Áine to create a moving imagesub-plot taking the artworks to another level. This video collaborationwill be projected video within the space.
Thisis a passionate response to the effect music has on the individual.
Theexhibition launch will take place in CompuCara, Dykegate lane, Dingle on 29thof April,at 5pm.
