Malabāri
the one from Malabār.
Mallu, Malabāri are mostly like the N-word for Malayalis. You get that weird ( not so pleasant ) look from a Keralite if you address them by any of those 2 words. As some of you may know, Kerala the small state on the south west tip of India was well known from historical times for its foreign connections and trade. But only thing is then Kerala was known by the name Malabar and so people from Malabar were called Malabāris. In Middle East, the Keralites especially elder generations were known by the generic term Malabāris.

I made this design to tell my friends and fellow Malabāris that the word Malabāri is still cool & uber and shouldn’t be treated as racial abuse or as an expression of some kind of social stigma. It’s just a geographical identification tag like Arab, Punjabi, Aussie or Brit.

It has got that swag, just like yours \m/
