Communal Development
This initial low cost schematic study for a not-for-profit organisation involves the conversion of a number of semi-industrial buildings to create a residential community for young adults. Designed to promote social interaction and useful contribution to the community the development will incorporate shared amenity, leisure and employment facilities and will utilise an innovative apprenticeship scheme during construction. This will be a very sustainable development including systems for renewable energy and self-sufficient food growing, waste recycling and sustainable transport use.
