I was commissioned by the Richmond Restaurant Group to paint murals and signage for East Coast Provisions, a seafood restaurant in Carytown, Richmond, Virginia.
The murals are whitewashed and purposely distressed to look like they had been painted on the brick walls long before the restaurant was opened (hence the letters being abruptly cropped). All together they read the name of the restaurant (East Coast Provisions) and the word Oyster along the downstairs bar wall.
I am not responsible for the logo/branding of the restaurant. However, I created a logo and signage for "Cedar Pointe Oyster Company" (the farm from which the restaurant gets their oysters). I was asked to recreate the restaurant logo on two separate signs, with slight color variations to hang in and outside of the building. All three signs were handlettered and painted on metal wrapped around wood. They were designed to have an old gas station vintage vibe, with hand painted rust texture.
