Office Design

Cisco Systems Inc. is the worldwide Leader in networking for the Internet. Cisco’s vision is to change the way people work, live, play and learn.

The new office interior is based on Cisco’s brand values and vision: network, collaboration and transparency. As a leading IT company Cisco encourages these attributes within the work place, unfortunately this is not visible at their current office in central London. Cisco clients visit their office frequently and this is a great opportunity to show of Cisco as a leading brand showcasing their technology and status. The new office scheme creates a statement for the brand by using good quality materials/finishes and shapes/colours that represent Cisco’s vision.

The new office has lots of open spaces and seating where staff and visitors can chat and network. Solid walls have been replaced with glass partitions to create transparency but also to reflect the natural daylight and make the space brighter. The existing beautiful windows and columns facing Finsbury Circus have been made into a feature by emphasising the columns with a dark wood cladding and adding relaxed seating and desks for staff and visitors to break out from the open plan office areas. The entire 7th floor has a ceiling panelling based on an overall grid system that works with the existing building shape and both furniture and ceiling reflect the grid. Another important design element is the multifunctional use of spaces within the new office, the reception and executive area become one big open space; the meeting rooms adjacent to the space dividers can be opened up and the entire space along the windows towards Finsbury Circus can be used for Cisco events and functions.
