Medwinds more than a brand is a love affair with the mediterranean. The name itself is a contraction of Mediterranean Winds,
all of which have their own name and distinct characteristics: from the strong, cold Mistral to the hot dust bearing Sirocco. Consequently, the logo represents the waves carried through the sea by the winds but at the same time is a synthesis
of the M and the W of Mediterranean Winds. Its shape is also reminiscent of traditional stitching, emphasizing the traditional methods of working and caring for the fabrics and products. 
 
The design of the clothes itself focuses on pure lines, neutral colors and thoughtful finishes building a high quality
essential wardrobe through its natural raw materials like cotton, leather, esparto or even recycled sails. Whenever possible
their products are handmade locally by experienced artisans. Medwinds is proof that quality and respect for tradition
and nature are not at odds with modern design.
