The shots were taken in Rijeka (Croatia, European Capital of Culture 2020), as a side-project
during the residency in 2015. Images are deprived of any action and the only dynamics they
have is from aestheticism of captured architectural objects. Short cuts of the city are minimal
and deliberately visually similar to photographs used in archiving process, bringing the sky as
background to artefacts. Beside architectural objects, series include two distinctive features
of Rijeka: Mediterranean plants and industrial heritage.
