Cineogram is an iPhone application which lets users record short bursts of video which are converted into low frame per second, black and white GIF files which are low in file size and ready to be shared with friends and family through social media and a dedicated website.
Designed to evoke 1920's film gear, the user must hand crank up to 5 seconds worth of footage which makes the experience active and engaging.
