Children Trafficking is one of the fastest growing crimes in the world. Child/human trafficking is the world’s second largest criminal enterprise, after drugs. Each year, 100,000 children are trafficked in Indonesia. And that the children, aged 15-18, are trafficked to places such as Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Singapore for sexual purposes.

The Indonesian government has taken several steps to prevent human trafficking but the efforts of the Indonesian government are not strong enough to counteract the issue of human trafficking in this nation.

Therefore, there must be more governmental and non-governmental action in place, to help the fight against human trafficking in order to put a stop to it, once and for all.
