Fashion Show 2016
Inspired by the 20's Art Deco Movement
My Role: Set/Tech Director Who helped: Two co-directors, and nine committee members.
First Half
The proposed set incorporated two halves of the show, that mirrored one another. Below, you can see the first half inspiration model. This design was later changed to allow for easy tear down at intermission. Instead, we used four 8'x15' flats to create a structure that displayed a clean, monochromatic art deco inspired pattern
Second Half
After an extremely fast intermission change, we unveiled a seemingly gold set of pipes that layered throughout the stage area. Models walked between, under, and through these structures as they made their way from one of the five entry points to the end of the runway.
