The New Onset Seizure Clinic, part of the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center at Cincinnati Children’s, requested creation of a packet to distribute patient education. A stitched booklet with pocket folder was developed, allowing staff to share pertinent information with patients and families in an easy-to-understand fashion. The inserts were designed to suit a number of purposes, including materials to share with a child’s school, babysitter and primary care physician. Original characters were illustrated to show the symptoms of a seizure.
