I designed this teapot in my third year at university. My professor asked me to design a tea pot which can be used in a wedding environment. When I was designing this teapot I tried to combine the handler of the teapot with a Chinese character “Xi”, which means good wishes for wedding. Viewing from the side, the overall shape of the teapot looks like a ring. There is a circle in the center of the ring. In Chinese culture, a circle means completeness. To some degree, it is also a wish to the couple.
