2017, BornMap: Graphic Design, Art Direction, Brand Identity
Bornmap is a tourist paper map of the most astonishing quarter in Barcelona, made in collaboration with the most important establishments in the area. El Born is a mix of architecture, including gothic and art deco, full of fashion and tiny streets, so we decided that the visual language empowered everything.
The logotype is a tribute from the old quote known in all Barcelona: "Roda el món i torna al Born," like traveling around the world and returning to el Born. The color blue used in Bornmap evokes the past as a quarter raised face by face with the sea. And all the map has the objective to be considered a practical gift, more than an advertising map.
