The Client
 
Since 1919, Van Houtte has been a coffee pioneer, perfecting roasting methods and guiding bean lovers in the discovery of great coffees.
 
Forever true to the original recipes handed down by our founder and to the traditional small batch roasting technique, each of our collections of fine coffees has its own way of expressing their tasteful and distinctive personality.
 
Our master roasters have not remained stuck in tradition. They’ve been hard at work, perfecting innovations such as the Coffee Profiles  to help coffee lovers develop and explore their palates, and broaden their coffee culture. 
 
Concept
 
The goal of this campaign was to develop a unique marketing strategy that will ensure this company’s successful entry into the South African niche coffee market.
 
With all the great coffees on the market it is always a challenge to get people interested in something new. With careful planning and deliberation I came up with the ‘discover’ and explore strategy.
