CEU: Interiores

De 2007 a 2011, fotografei o apartamento 216 B da Casa do Estudante Universitário da Universidade de Brasília – CEU/UnB, onde morava. Sem elaboração prévia de um conceito curatorial, rondei o apartamento capturando milhares de imagens dos interiores daquele espaço em constante metamorfose.

Iniciei, em 2013, a criação da série fotográfica CEU: Interiores, a ser constituída pela síntese daquele acervo. A seleção se estendeu até 2016.

O projeto CEU: Interiores foi aprovado nos editais Chamada Pública UnB 50 Anos, Fundo de Apoio à Cultura do Distrito Federal - Difusão e Circulação e FUNARTE - Ocupação dos Centros de Artes e Esportes Unificados.

Esta série fotográfica foi exposta na Universidade de Brasília em junho de 2015 e na galeria Photobastei (Zurique, Suiça) em junho e julho de 2016. CEU: Interiores também integra, em sua totalidade, a mostra Panorama, que inclui obras de seis séries fotográficas de minha autoria. Esteve em exposição no espaço cultural Obere Mühle (Dübendorf, Suíça) em agosto e setembro de 2016.

CEU: Interiors

From 2007 to 2011, I photographed the apartment 216 B in the university's student residence at the University of Brasilia, where I lived. Without a previous curatorial concept, I wandered around the apartment capturing thousands of images in the interiors of that space which as in constant metamorphosis.

In 2013 I initiated the creation of the photographic series CEU: Interiors, to be formed by the synthesis of that collection. “CEU” stands for “Casa do Estudante Universitário” (Residence of the University Student in Portuguese) and the word “céu” means “sky”. The selection lasted until 2016.

In Brazil, the project CEU: Interiors was approved in the public announcement Public Call UnB 50 Years, Support Fund for Culture of the Federal District - Distribution and Circulation and National Foundation of Arts - Occupation of Centers of Arts and Sports Unified.
