The Kapiti Coast community needed a new festival presence. With the help of Luvly ltd, the 'Kapiti Coast Festival' was born. The festival incorporated with the Mary Potter Hospice, also had the 'Kapti Coast Festival Homebrew Competition' sponsored by Tuatara Breweries. Both the festival and the homebrew competition required an identity to reflect the coastal feel of the Kapiti Coast, as well as a website to drive audiences to for information in support of the Facebook page.
