Plair developed a wireless technology allowing you to seamlessly stream media from your phone to the TV.
Through sketching, mock-ups and testing the New Deal Design team and I housed Plair’s electronics within a Mobius Strip-like form. This clever design integrates portability and TV attachment; the electronics are magnetically positioned in front of the TV while connecting to the USB port in the back. Concurrently we designed a mobile app to simplify and complete the streaming process.
We also created a playful package: the Plair device hangs from a hollow peg, which wittily doubles as the retail hangtag.
