The Leo: Human Rights Exhibit Artwork

Exhibition & Signage
Salt Lake City's fabulous Leonardo Museum created an incredibly engaging and informative exhibit based around the 30 Articles of Human Rights. I was lucky enough to be asked, along with two other amazing artists, to create three large-scale coloring book panels that museum-goers would be able to color in as they listened to audio and as they explored the rest of the exhibit. There ended up being 8 giant panels, each focused on a different area of human rights. My contributions are below.
My first piece is a quote attributed to Harper Lee: "As you grow up, always tell the truth, do no harm to others, and don't think you are the most important being on earth. Rich or poor, you then can look anyone in the eye and say, "I'm probably no better than you, but I'm certainly your equal."
My second piece: "Our true nationality is Mankind." by H.G. Wells. I chose to frame and weave Chrysanthemums throughout the quote because they symbolize “truth".
My third piece calls out the main aspect of each of the 30 Articles of Human Rights.
