The design for the 1111 Yuanshen Road Research & Development Centre was driven by respect for the local landscape. Views of the surrounding context and energy performance constitute an elegant and compelling architectural solution that defines what it means to be “of its Time”, “of its Place” and “of its Patron”.
The energy efficiency of the building has been further enhanced by considering the use of an Algae Integrated Façade System designed to improve indoor air quality through O2 production and CO2 absorption as a result of photosynthesis of algae.
