Here in Malta we love our religious feasts, which to us phographers give us plenty of intersting things to photograph from marching bands, statues and processions to fireworks. There is also a yearly Firework festival for anyone wishing to visit. 

 

These shots are from 15th August 2015, the Feast of St. Mary, which is celebrated in more than one village / town across Malta & Gozo, and at night you will see our nation light up with fireworks simply beautiful. 

 

I wanted to Photograph the fireworks from an abstract perspective, seeing alot of landscapes with fireworks I wanted something which focuses on the magic happening in the fireworks, the vibrant colours and color smoke.
