With a strong nod toward retired military personnel and their families who often travel from state to state in recreational vehicles or for the purposes of seeing the country, Bases breaks down which military bases are closest at the time and what features are available, allowing users to decide which stops to make as they travel around America.

Rocksauce Studios was brought on by Neutral Blue after the initial wire-framing and concepting had been completed, specifically for the purpose of creating an interface that would allow the app to shine above and beyond the competition presently on the iTunes App store.

We focused on playing with textures and colors commonly seen in military uniforming and hardware. While not overtly masculine, Rocksauce focused on a green, corded wood texture, golden stitching, and polished steel to create an almost nostalgic effect while simultaneously making the app useful and distinct.
