SENIOR THESIS : FAME is a renovation project of a once popular business located in the heart of downtown Muskogee, Oklahoma. Like many old buildings, the hotel has gone through several owners in the hopes of becoming a roaring hot spot once again. As of today, the building remains vacant and sits on four acres on the corner of Broadway and Main Street in Muskogee. By removing and relocating the interior walls, functionality and new life will be brought to the inside of the space. Taking inspiration from the original design and materials used in buildings throughout town, marble walls, reclaimed wood, exceptional lighting, and a tin tile ceiling will be used on the main floor of the hotel. Innovative features like low flow plumbing fixtures, geothermal heating and cooling, perfect 16 air purifier, skylights, and solar panels are what help to bring this hotel into the 21st century.
