I was the Promos Head for WriterSkill's BookBlind, which is an event wherein people may exchange books for other books that have been wrapped, and may have a message written on the wrapper. It was also held near Valentine's Day, so one gimmick of the event was that you could give a book to your crush.

 

The promos were inspired by the movie That Thing Called Tadhana.

 

I started off by sketching the boy and the girl on my sketchpad, and then taking a picture of them and digitally traced and colored it in afterwards.

These were some of the sketches I made while conceptualizing the look of the promo.

Once I got the project heads' approval, I started working on the promotions. I wanted to make the promos look like they were done in watercolor, or at least done traditionally, just for style.
