~PURITY ~
Innocence, clarity, cleanliness, nature, serenity, chastity- PURE.

For this shoot I thought of all things pure and put those inspirations together to create my vision of purity. Water and cleanliness in my eyes are a big part of purity, so I introduced this through the snow and the ice cube in my photographs.
I also believe nature has a lot to do with purity so I wanted to integrate that woodland theme into the shoot through the use of the greenery and white roses. After all, forests are known to be mystical, a place where fairies, nymphs and other magical creatures would live. There is definitely something innocent,beautiful and pure about fairies and nymphs. I based my model's look on a woodland nymph.
Religious and biblical references were also a big influence on my shoot. The virgin Mary is the ultimate icon of purity and chaste and I used the image of her to inspire me, especially when directing and creating the look for the model.
Last but not least, white is the ultimate colour of purity and peace. In this shoot you will see no other colours apart from white, green and blue, all PURE shades. If you can't tell already, this shoot has a lot of symbolism behind it!
