CUBES
One project related with games and a lot of fun. I wanted to create something different and out of my comfort zone. So, I tried to make something for kids. I chоse a form of a cube, it's classic, easy to play with and it's intuitive.

There is a lot of games like this. That' s why I didn't want to create a picture which has to be arranged. I wanted to create something between puzzle, when you search to make a form, and lego - when you can create another forms by yourself. That' s why I created a illustration from geometric forms. In that way every piece is like module. The illustration is the same every time except on the two sides of the cube, which are on the top and on the bottom. They have the same illustration but mirror reflected. In that way, there is more combinations.

I made 6 cubes, but they can be made 9 or 12, the principle is simple - as many cubes you have, as more combinations you get. I chose 3 colors, it's more clear and simple. I made a model from carton and I used silk screen printing to make the illustrations. They can be easily made from wood or other material.

First sketch... choosing an appropriate animal.
I simplified the form to its maximum and I made it more recognizable.
All forms, combinations and colors, which I used.
Some photos with different combinations.
I gave the cubes to some children to see is the game interesting enough.
I also told about making the cubes in a bigger form, so I made a visualisation when the cubes big as 40 cm each. They can be made from soft and light material in a way to be easily moved from the kids. They can be placed is kinder gardens or game rooms for kids. The game is intended for children from 3 to 7 years.
The making process :)
