“Transformer” is a multifunctional mobile center which can operate as a stage, computer-lab, video projection, library, exhibition and etc. Travelling through regions of Armenia, it stops in different cities’ public locations, offering a unique & free platform for participation into discussions, processes & education around cultural & socio-economic topics.

After protests against illegal construction in Mashtoc Park, importance of a platform which could easily move around and raise the awareness, by bringing up discussions became evident. Main concept was taken from cultural palaces, which existed during Soviet era, all over the country. 

Project is funded by ”Fonds Genève Ville Solidaire” and initiated by Geneva “Utopiana”. All the programs are free of charge and participants are chosen based on their applications purpose and objectives.
