[Study] Business Directory - UI Design

This project is a study I made in my free time to apply concepts of UX design and information architecture in order to provide a good interface for a typical business directory / yellow pages website. I used yellow, one of the most difficult colors to work in web design (in my opinion) as a reference to the concept of yellow pages. I also used some orange to bring energy and balanced it with sober colors like gray and oil blue. All the photos used are from Wikimedia Commons, see the credits in the end of the page.
