Initial Creation:

Sketches and visual research conducted help narrow down the look and feel of my original personal logo. By combining a hat that I wear often with my glasses and initials, I've created something that is very unique to me.
Combining the Elements:

Choosing a font that was soft and friendly gave off something that is far more indicative of my personality. Combining my two initials into one shape made it feel more like a scribble or a doodle that I would create in my own time. The color palette was kept minimal, and included my favorite color: red.
Updating Later in Life:

As time passed and I became more competent and honed in my skills, my previous logo felt juvenile and like it didn't fit me anymore. Initially the redesign of the logo was creating a vector of my own handwritten initials. With feedback from other designers and professors, I also decided to keep the original concept of my hat and glasses to show my illustrating abilities. By refining my illustration and combining it with my handwritten initials, I've brought my logo into the newest stage of my life and allowed it to grow and change with my skills and aesthetics.
