Some time go I spent time with the Jornaleros in a town in New Jersey.
During this time I learned that some of the men were professionals back in their countries. Some of them had been kidnapped by their contractors, some of them were not paid after a day of work, and some of them were delinquents.
All of them trying to make money.
It was not easy to make friends with them, they were very skeptical about me and why I was there. I understood, most of them were, and probably still are, illegal immigrants. With all of that said, here I have a small collection of photos to share with you.
