My younger brothers started a moving business in Monterey, California.  Despite my attempts to get them to name the company something funny for marketing purposes...they agreed on my Plan B which was 831 Move...or 831Move.com.

 

I wanted something simple to recognize and affiliate with the good ole days back when we were kids.  You know...the ugly 80's stripes that were on everything back then.  The Monterey County is one of the most beautiful places on Earth.  We have a ton of agriculture, from lettuce to strawberries and garlica and this and that.  We have beauitful beaches and fantastic weather.

 

My brothers wanted to include something that would symbolize our recently passed Father.  His nickname was "Pino" as in the Spanish word for pine or pine tree.

So there you have it, the LOGO and front/back business card of the family moving business.  They ended up going with the blue background for the business card.  My favorite color is green but I think they chose wisely.

 

Not bad for a non-paying job eh???
