In December of 2011, PRSSA and AAF students from the University of South Dakota hosted a fundraising event for the Children's Home Society of South Dakota. During the event, over $500 and over 150 toys were collected for kids in need for the holiday season.
The event surrounded social media and how it can be used to get the word out to help one another. The event takes places all over the United States and the world. These items advertise for the South Dakota Tweet Drive specifically.
