Tasks:

Develop the Name, User Interface and Identity for e-commerce shop of cosmetics;
Find the original interface solutions;
Promote the loyalty and love to the shop;
- Achieve the feeling of pleasure of shopping.

Challenges:

- Consumers haven't trust the Russian cosmetic online-shops. It will necessary to overcome by quality service, user-friendly interface and a suitable visual identity. 
During online shopping, customers have many questions, which are a common cause of denial. It will to overcome by the user-friendly interface and efficient layout of the information.



1. Wireframes

We agreed with the Client that he will be deeply involved in the project. It was important for Client, to start with the wireframes. Work on the Name and Identity were postponed to the second stage.



At the beginning, we found an interesting solution for the catalog filters — all of them opens in pop-up window.
This solution passed into the final design.




We checked solution on the mobile screen:

Total: 13 iterations of wireframes

But the client didn't suit the traditional patterns of our wireframes. This is how the shopwindows metaphor was found.
This means large product images and a minimum of interface elements.





2. Name and Identity

At the same time, the work on the name and the Identity was begun.
Minimalism and futurism were the main directions.



3. User Interface

We sought to minimize the controls and maximize the images of products (shopwindows metaphor).

4. After the start

Shortly, after the start, it was clear that we needed to add the traditional e-commerce interface elements, like category submenu and left filters panel:



After all, the site was collected a lot of positive reviews of customers, which meant — the main task was completed (to achieve the feeling of pleasure of shopping).
