Voglia consists of two wirelessly interconnected pieces of jewellery both of which hide within them a little camera and screen.
The system allows people far from their partners to send little details of their bodies in streaming video.
Users can compensate for the absence of physical intimacy by reliving intense moments with the partner and, at the same time, enjoying an original erotic experience.
INTIMATE MOMENTS WHEREVER
Voglia’s shape hides its function and its “erotic secret”. Because it is used during the partner’s absence, it is portable, wearable and compact. Users can experience it in the privacy of their home, but nothing stop them enjoying it in crowded places: maybe it could prove to be spicier!
DESIGN
The shape is divided in two sides of different materials, one for men and one for women. The main components are the camera (woman’s side) and the screen (man’s side), placed in a special way to look like precious stones. Communication is possible only between two devices sold together. It uses the Internet combined with Bluetooth on smartphone.
INTERACTION THROUGH EROTIC GESTURES
Voglia wants to create a real interaction between two users that allows them to carry out an activity together. The interaction with the object uses loving gestures, like kissing, breathing and caressing.
PROTOTYPE
To prototype the experience we create two devices, one with a camera and one with a screen. We used two Arduino boards connected via a PC running Processing. The aim was to test the communication and interaction between the devices and the quality of the video.
