Captured Moments Watercolours Watercolours have always been my first love in creating colour representations of subjects that intrigued me. Over the years I have learned to paint a lot looser than I did when I first started out, since the very first way I would express myself on paper was with pencil, Flowers, strange landscapes and sketches of the teachers at school. The transparency of the medium is what intrigues me most, The reaction of the colours to each other surprises me every time when I put them together on paper.
Autumn Flight. Composition of autumn finds.
Colourful Boldness. A bright reminder of summer climes in winter times.
Fuchsia surprise. A gift from a friend, the late flowers of her garden fuchsia.
Two by Two. Painted for a special orchid weekend at my local garden centre in Sherfield on Loddon.
In Safe Arms was a card painted for a friend.
My Upsidedown World. A mother enjoying the fun her child has in looking at the world in a different way.
Autumn Swan. painted for the Sennellier competition this year. It gained me a small but very beautiful prize of a paint box with Sennellier paints.
