Adobe QoS App

When the Apple Watch was released Dylan DePass, Sr. Computer Scientist, knew notifications were a killer use for this new technology. He quickly got to work building a prototype showing what was possible in a short time. Then working with our IT team responsible for quality metrics he wired up his proof of concept to deliver a fully working app to our internal teams here at Adobe.
With the increasing ubiquity of the Apple watch we wanted to experiment using wearable technology. We chose a project that enabled us to raise awareness of Adobe's cloud platform uptime metrics.
We built the application to provide, at a glance, more functionality than a text message or email would provide. The goal was to notify our team of outages and allow them to check details of that incident.

The application allows the user to view the current status of Adobe's clouds on their wrist. The user can also browse any open incidents as well as view the current service level agreement (SLA) metrics for the quarter. The QoS (Quality of Service) application supports Apple Watch, iPhone and iPad.
