Basilisk - from Mythographia series, based in mythological creatures. Basilisk, half cock, half reptil, emerged from a hen egg hatched by a toad.

Tarrasque - from Mythographia series, based in mythological creatures. Tarrasque, a kind of dragon with turtle shell and lion head, terrorized the town of Tarrasque in France. Saint Martha  defeated the beast and for any weird reason people named the town after the creature ... sacre bleu!
