ADRIAN FRUTIGER
This project I was to create a piece to reflect the life and work of an influential type designer. Adrian Frutiger was chosen as he had recently passed and he is also one of my favourite typographers. I created three double page spreads plus front and back covers. I created a design on the cover using the font ‘Frutiger’ to celebrate the typeface and further glorified it throughout the drop cap letters and body copy. As Adrian Frutiger is Swiss, I chose the colour palette of red and white from the Swiss flag and black as a further contrasting colour.
