BANANA FAIR
Part 1
 (Smiley Face Sticker)

This project started as an individual one where each student was assigned a medium to work with following some rules. My assigned medium was a pack to colorful smiley face stickers; I was asked to design a typeface that spells the two words banana fair. My smileys had to touch but not overlap. I started with the exploration of different weights and styles and ended up refining one of them.

Part 2
    (Smiley Face Sticker)

The second part of the project was to design GIFs where we would put our typefaces in motion using After Effect. Following this step, we were assigned partners where we had to design a website and a double sided 11x17 poster.

The Black and Yellow Tape/Stripes Kyoka Wu
The Black Blocks(only present in the website)Lynn Tia

Printed version of the poster on a newsprint paper
The website was designed and coded (by Jared Kitade) in a way each person would have a page for only his/her GIFs and the last page would be a combination of all of ours in a random way that would generate different typefaces each time you refresh or click on the button. Navigate the website here
