Experimental design’s primary intention is about exploration and design motivated by curiosity. I’ve chosen this approach to explore methods to kindle newness in toaster. And my goal is to achieve an outcome that is more unusual.
Arctoas is an intriguing toaster designed to kindle curiosity, as well as providing a unique bread toasting experience for families. With an all round circular slot it molds your bread into curved toast, achieving an intriguing toasting experience. Curved toast accommodates to our hands to make it easier to hold, eat and spread.The concentrated curved shape can contain more ingredients preventing them from easily falling off the toast. All in all, this toaster intrigues a new way of eating, and allows you to serve a generous smiling toast to your family and friends.
This design is achieved with two cylindrical mica sheet with the nichrome wire running vertically to prevent your bread being stuck. A curved Capacitive Touch Switch is used to replace physical buttons as well as a motorized carriage to lift up the bread.
