Explanimation for .FRL designed to be used before the launch if the new regional TLD. However the animation was never used by the client.
The idea behind the design was to use the 3 Frisian colors (red, white and blue) along with the lily pads (or: "pompeblêden") - all animated as if moved by wind and water. This latter part was inspired by the Frisian lakes and famous sailing heritage.
9 April 2016: Only now decided to (re)release this video as the client requested (back then) to have this removed. It's been 2 years and the product has since launched. Shame this animation was never used, I'm still pretty happy with it.
