NCWR, programme in the Mediterranean

The client —
The Global Water Partnership (GWP) is a global action network with over 3,000 partner organizations in 183 countries. The network has 86 country water partnerships and 13 regional water partnerships. It raises awareness and helps improve water management on all levels: global, regional, national and local. The Non-Conventional Water Resources (NCWR) Programme is designed to demonstrate how to make the most of the existing water resources and alleviate the water crisis in the Mediterranean.
With the support of the Coca-Cola Foundation, and in partnership with local and national authorities, the Coca-Cola Company and its country bottlers, the NCWR Programme aims to advance the use of NCWR technology to increase the local water budget and contribute to climate change adaptation in insular and urban communities.

The creative concept —
We developed this colorful brand identity for the NCWR Programme, organized by GWP Mediterranean. The commission included an explanatory video, print applications and a small Facebook campaign to introduce the NCWR to the public.

Playful illustrations, vivid colors and friendly, imaginary characters were the tools we used to reflect the messages of the programme in a fresh and fun way. The client asked for a video that would capture the viewer’s interest during a presentation, and at the same time would clearly explain the objectives of the initiative. We worked closely with the Odd Bleat animation studio to create the video presenting the programme.
