These are images of some collages I created while working on a drawing project in which I was examining the story of the princess and the pea.I wanted to create objects with the same componants as the story but in an unexpected way so I layered paper and pva over peas and beans and buttons and sanded the paper until the pea and pea like objects were revealed under the layers of paper, much like the layers of mattresses on top of the pea in the story .
