Underwater with U.S. Paralympic Athlete Brad Snyder

I had the awesome opportunity to meet with U.S. Paralympic athlete Brad Snyder to feature him in a shoot for The Hartford, thanks to our friends at Rodgers Townsend. The Hartford is a founding partner of U.S. Paralympics, a division of the U.S. Olympic Committee, and Brad Snyder is among the athletes supported by the company’s sponsorship. He won 2 gold and 1 silver at the London 2012 Paralympic Games. He won his first gold medal exactly 1 year, to the day, after losing his sight to an injury sustained in Afghanistan. He is training to make a spot on Team USA to compete at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games, and he is The Hartford’s national athlete ambassador.

To say it was a pleasure working with Brad Snyder is an understatement; he was not only inspiring, positive and gracious, but he was hilarious and fun to be around, too.
And now on the the Behind the Scenes...and my SWEET backflip!
Why I stick the radio receiver up my nose, I'm not exactly sure...
Please take a moment to watch him tell his story at Stevenson University.  It's totally worth your time, I promise.  It will give you some perspective, I know it did for me.

Cheers Brad and good luck in Rio!
