The Electrolux Lollipop was designed for the Electrolux Design Competition. While visiting the supermarket the device allows the user to scan food items and taste them before buying. The device would work by scanning the barcode of the food item relaying the code to a local inventory computer in the supermarket which in turn would relay a signal back to the lollipop where the user could taste then taste using an electrochemical pad.
