am a Scottish Landscape Photographer based in Perthshire. My passion for photography comes from the beauty that surrounds me in the countryside of Scotland. I love spending my leisure time capturing the essence of Scotland, be that a sunset over a castle, the amazing relections in a still loch, the magnificence of an imposing mountain or the shear power of a stunning waterfall, each and every scene requires a different thought process and workflow to capture these precious moments.
My inspirations are quite widespread from renowned photographers including Colin Prior and Charlie Waite, to lesser known but equally talented photographers such as Grumpy George, Adrian Hall, Alex Scott and Alun Davies, all of whom have supported and encouraged me in my journey to become the photographer I am today.
I am a regular contributor to Scottish Field Magazine, have several commisioned works to my name, and now I am highly delighted, and honoured to be selected to have three of my works at this exhibition to mark Eilean Donan Castle’s Centenary celebrations.
