Ok. So firstly I drew a couple of sketches. The first one served as a general composition, and over it drew a second sketch correcting a refining the first drawing

When i was happy with that sketch, i decided to draw some sort of clean-up/lineart (black) to use as a guide to the final illustration

I added background, shadows and left the final sketch in multiply mode to help as a guide for the following process

From shadow to light I started adding volume to the character
