Argine means embankment.
It's the place where - when I was a child - I used to play with friends, walk, bike. The place where every change of season was a marvel and a discovery, full of misterious and sometimes scary spots.
It's also the place where - long time ago - small local farmers and fishermen used to live working in accordance with seasons. Now nearly all their houses are abandoned, the fields are property of few bigger farmers and fishing is just a week-end sport for people coming from the city.
But somehow its aura is still alive: my place of memories, a walk through the past.
